Pink Guava(Lalitha variety) is sweet and subtly fragrant, slightly juicy Like regular green guava, it has numerous small, hard, sand-colored seeds that can be eaten – at least they don’t seem to pose any problems when swallowed. Pink Guava has more water content, less Sugar (Less Brix), less starch content and Vitamin C and less seed or even seedless.
Found across the globe, in India, the Pink Guava is primarily cultivated in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Pink guavas are available in the late spring and summer.
